Today we finally poured some of the concrete paving "flatwork".
The paving around the Dining/Living Room, and the Front Entry Landing, and the paving around the Garage.
Hoo boy have I been waiting for this day.
There is a sordid story here - one of frustration and behind the scenes battles between a GC/Owner and a Subcontractor. I might tell this story, but not now.
Right now I am just ecstatic to have progress in this major remaining category of work.
Immediately, the cat tried to walk on it.
Next order of business is forming the steps up to the front door. Then, the driveway and curbcut.
I sure hope we keep the momentum going.
